A temporada de premiações do cinema mal terminou, e já estamos começando mais uma — dessa vez, da TV. As indicações ao BAFTA televisivo, o maior prêmio da telinha britânica, foram anunciadas hoje pelos organizadores.

Após a realização do BAFTA cinematográfico, vencido este ano por "Nomadland", o BAFTA televisivo acontece no próximo dia 6 de julho. A premiação é focada em produções britânicas, mas ite também séries de outros países que sejam transmitidas no Reino Unido.

"Small Axe", a antologia de telefilmes sobre racismo de Steve McQueen ("12 Anos de Escravidão"), foi a líder de indicações este ano, com 15 ao todo. "The Crown", da Netflix, apareceu logo atrás, com dez lembranças.

As minisséries "I May Destroy You", de Michaela Coel (com nove indicações) e "Normal People" (com oito) também se destacaram na lista.
